A race for space
A ditch to dodge
A turn and halt

A choice of path
A crossroad crossed
A fall and rise

A rag to a rich
A drive to bridge
A date with fate

Eyes focused, unwavering
Not a blink
On the figure ahead
In the antics they sink
Fathoming, unassuming
From far they seem to think
Oscillating as a pendulum
The rhythm sets in
A few creases on the temple
On the palm rests the chin
A Penseur’s face
And a mild grin
Words flow by
In a whirlpool drown me inside
Hands move time
My thoughts wander miles
White pages, blue ink
A contemporary art style
A corner yells, another whispers
I continue immune
In my deep slumber
Nothing but it awakens
The evil called attendance!!!

Hearing its silence
Listening to its roars.

Walking on the wet sand
Leaving the prints behind

I halt and turn
To track them back
But the waves of time
Have washed them away

Withered flower
Its fragrance lost
Stranded yesterday
When it bloomed

Dried leaf
Raked up by wind
Abandoned yesterday
When lush green

Mudwater
Flowing down the drain
Ignored yesterday
When it rained

Fragrant flowers
Verdant leaves
Tears rain upon me
Forgotten yesterday
When I lived….
